Google, which joined the Star Wars: Episode 7 - The Force Awakens campaign, has released a patch for its Chrome browser to filter out potential spoilers related to the movie.

When this add-on is activated, the browser will analyze the content of pages on the Web and, if it detects anything even remotely resembling a spoiler, display a warning. Then the user will be able to make a decision himself - to continue viewing the page or not to risk it and close it. Naturally, this "patch" can be used not only by fans of "Star Wars", but those who love the famous saga and do not want to see any mentions on their monitor.

As a reminder, Google previously launched another original update. A user who wrote the phrase "May the Force be with you" in the search bar received search results decorated in the style of Star Wars title credits. Unfortunately, this function only worked in the company's home COM zone.

The seventh episode of "Star Wars" kicks off worldwide on December 17-18, 2015. He is expected to set many box office records, including in box office records this first weekend.
