Sigourney Weaver will take part in Ghostbusters 3
The cast of the movie "Ghostbusters 3" has been replenished with one more participant in the original movie. According to director Paul Feig on his official Twitter page, Sigourney Weaver agreed to return to the role of Dana Barrett (Gatekeeper). "Guys, I tried to keep it a secret, but it will be revealed soon anyway, so you better find out from me. Sigourney Weaver will be in our movie," he wrote. The director did not specify how large the actress's party would be. Earlier, Ernie Hudson, Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray, who played the leading roles in the first two episodes of "Ghostbusters", announced their consent to take part in the third movie. Murray refused to shoot for a long time, claiming that he was ready to return only if his character becomes a ghost. However, in the future, he changed his anger to mercy and admitted that he was "fascinated by the director and his ideas." The leading roles in the third movie were played by Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Keith McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Their partners on the set were Chris Hemsworth, who got the cameo role of the huntress secretary, as well as Andy Garcia and Michael C.
