Demi Moore returns to TV
Demi Moore returns to television after a twenty-year hiatus, aside from her guest appearance on Will and Grace in 2003. The actress will star in the drama "10 Days in the Valley," directed by Tessie Cameron ("The Recruited Cops"). This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Moore will play Jane Sadler, a hard-working writer and single mother. When her 5-year-old daughter disappears from bed in the middle of the night, Jane must reconcile all the details, including her television show, affections and deeply hidden dark secrets, in order to get her child back. Cameron wrote the script for the TV show, which also included will participate as executive producer and showrunner. The production will be handled by Skydance Television. The series is up for sale at the time of this writing. For Moore, this will be the first regular role in the series since her participation in the soap opera General Hospital from 1981 to 1984. After the success of the series, Moore received offers to star in the movies "Saint Elmo's Fire" and "It Happened Last Night" and devoted herself entirely to full-time.
