DC officials were unhappy with Zach Snyder's MCU

Rumor that between the management of Warner Bros. and directed by Zach Snyder, there were some frictions over the style and direction of the development of the DC MCU received confirmation, but with one amendment. According to New York Post correspondent Abraham Reisman, DC Entertainment executives expressed their opposition to Snyder's version.

According to Reisman, CEO Diane Nelson stated that “Zach's vision was not synchronized with our these characters, but we respected what he wanted to do. " Probably, it is precisely this mismatch of views on the cinematic universe that explains the recruitment of Joss Whedon as a screenwriter back in the spring of 2017, who at the beginning of the summer headed the project as a director.

Note, that representatives of Warner Bros. have previously confirmed that despite Whedon's significant contributions to the final version of Justice League, Zack Snyder will be credited as director. Whedon, on the other hand, will be listed as the scriptwriter of the movie, and this despite the fact that all summer the latter directed large-scale reshoots of individual episodes of Justice League in order to adjust the overall tone of the project.
