Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart were in the Guinness Book of Records as the actors who played the characters of popular comics for the longest time in full-length movie adaptations. This is reported by the Geek Tyrant with reference to the organizers. Both actors made their debut in X-Men in 2000 and last met on the set of Logan in 2016.

The respective certifications were awarded to the actors during The Morning. "Today Hugh Jackman's long-standing dream has come true - to set some kind of world record. Now his enthusiasm for this has been officially recorded," the show's official Twitter channel says.

Recall that both actors previously stated that do not intend to return to the images of Wolverine and Professor X anymore. The producers of the movie adaptations claimed that, most likely, in the foreseeable future, a new, younger performer of the role of Logan will be found. However, in early 2019, videos of Jackman's intense workouts began to appear on social media, and some fans of the actor began to speculate that he was ready to play a superhero again in one of the next Marvel studio projects.
