Fox has postponed the X-Men sequels
20th Century Fox has made some adjustments to the rental schedules for the X-Men sequels. According to Variety, the movie "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" will be presented to viewers not in November 2018, as previously planned, but on February 14, 2019. Also the movie "New Mutants", which was originally announced for April 2018, and then for February 22, 2019, now "occupied" the date of August 2, 2019. The official reason for the revision of the rental schedules is not named, but most likely this is due to the sale of Fox to Walt Disney and, as a result, the desire to build a universe more connected with other projects based on comics. Note that earlier information was circulated that both projects could be sent back for revision. In the case of New Mutants, the scale of the reshoots was assessed as impressive. According to unconfirmed official reports, it was planned to add some new characters from the X-Men universe. Quite possibly, it was about some kind of hero already familiar to the audience, who will connect this movie with previous adaptations of Marvel comics.
