2019 Golden Eagle Award Winners Announced
Golden Eagle 2019 awards from the National Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of USA took place in Moscow. The drama Anna's War was recognized as the best feature movie of the year, its creator Alexei Fedorchenko won the Best Director nomination. Actors Aglaya Tarasova (Ice) and Vladimir Mashkov (Moving Up) received awards for the performance of the main roles. "Moving Up" also received awards for Best Editing, Sound Engineer and Best Visual Effects. Svetlana Khodchenkova (Dovlatov) won the Best Supporting Actress category. Kirill Zaitsev ("Moving up") was awarded in a similar male category.
"Hoffmaniada", created at the "Soyuzmultmovie" studio, was recognized as the best animated movie of the year. In the nomination "The best non-fiction movie" the prize was awarded to the project "Bears of Kamchatka. Beginning of Life". Actress Anna Mikhalkova ("An Ordinary Woman") and actor Alexander Petrov ("Sparta"), according to the National Film Academy, played the best roles in television series.
