SpongeBob Supported Gays and Lesbians
American children's television channel Nickelodeon congratulated all representatives of sexual minorities on Pride, traditionally celebrated in June every year. On the official Twitter channel of the company, under the illustration depicting SpongeBob, a comment was published with the followingcontent:"Celebrating Pride with the LGBTQ + community of their friends this month and each next." Despite the fact that direct instructions on the sexual orientation of the protagonist of the popular animated series "SpongeBob Squarepants" in the text was not present, many viewers of the TV channel suggested that in this way Nickelodeon made a kind of "coming out", admitting that SpongeBob is gay.
