Avengers 4: Endgame has already overtaken Avengers 3
The movie "Avengers 4: Endgame" set another absolute record long before the premiere. According to The Hollywood Reporter, more tickets were sold for the first week of North American comic adaptations than for the previous Fandango record holder's Star Wars: Episode 7 - The Force Awakens. "Avengers 3" that ratio was one to five in favor of the fourth part. Earlier, another record achievement was recorded: in 24 hours more tickets were sold than for sessions of any other project in the history of cinema. Screenings of the movie in North America will start on April 25, 2019. Fandango reports that thousands of screenings have already been fully redeemed, and cinema chains are forced to introduce new ones. In some rooms, "Avengers 4" will be shown around the clock. Early forecasts promised the movie a record gross for the premiere weekend, they could exceed 257 million, which collected the third part. It should be noted that "Avengers 3" had an obvious advantage - a more modest timing, which implied more sessions. Time will tell whether this will be an obstacle for Avengers 4 on its way to new records.
