2021 Golden Globes postponed
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has decided to postpone the 2021 Golden Globe Awards. According to the organization's official Twitter page, it will take place on 28 February. Earlier, another ceremony was scheduled for this date - the presentation of the American Academy awards, which was postponed earlier to April. Note that traditionally the Golden Globe is awarded in the first half of January, and the list of nominees for the award is presented in December ... Due to the epidemic of a new type of coronavirus and restrictions imposed in various countries, many events in 2020 were either canceled or postponed altogether. So, for the first time in several decades, the International Cannes Film Festival did not take place, and the Moscow one was postponed until autumn ... The main fan event of the year, San Diego Comic-Con, has been canceled. The first major event of the year should be the Venice Festival, the organizers of which have promised to hold it on the previously scheduled date - in September.
