USAn cinemas refuse to show Matilda (Topic)

The large USA cinema chains "Formula Kino" and "Cinema Park" have abandoned their previous intentions - to show the USA audience the historical drama "Matilda", which was movieed by director Alexei Uchitel. The reason is "concern for the safety of viewers", since recently "illegal actions by opponents of the movie" have been recorded.

Note that earlier the lawyer of Alexey Uchitel reported that unknown persons set fire to a car near the office , leaving at the crime scene scraps of papers on which it was written: "For" Matilda "- to burn." The director's studio in St. Petersburg was also attacked. The intruders threw several Molotov cocktails into the building. The investigation on this matter is ongoing.

Alexey Uchitel himself has repeatedly turned to all his critics, first of all to the deputy Poklonskaya, with a proposal not to judge his movie before its release. In early August 2017, Matilda received a distribution certificate and a 16+ rating, which means that it is available to the general audience.

The movie is scheduled to premiere on October 23, 2017 at the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg ... The tape will be released on October 25.
