In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk the festival of serial movies "Morning of the Motherland 2020" has finished. The jury, headed by the famous director Sergei Ursulyak, presented the list of winners. The winners of the awards were:

"Best Music for a Film" – Anton Schwartz, "Mosgaz. Major Cherkasov's New Case";

"Best Screenplay" – Natalia Meshchaninova, "Storm";

"Best Actor" – Alexander Robak, "Storm";

"Best Actress" – Anna Mikhalkova, "Storm";

"Best Actor in a Supporting Role" – Maxim Lagashkin, "Beetles";

"Best Actress in a Supporting Role" – Anna Kotova-Deryabina, " Teachers ";

" Best Cinematography "– David Khaiznikov," Epidemic ";

" Best Director's Work "– Boris Khlebnikov," Storm ";

"Grand Prix" – "Storm".

The honorary award of the festival - the People's Choice Award was awarded to the series "Epidemic". "The work of the jury was very intense, but at the same time interesting, since each of us had our own vision, our preference for heroes and movies, our favorites. We argued, argued our point of view on this or that nomination, exchanged impressions. In what the jury was unanimous, it was in the opinion that modern series are now being movieed at a very high level, are conquering TV screens and Internet platforms, attract the attention of the audience. And, I think, the serial story is just at the beginning of its journey, "commented Sergei Ursulyak.
