Warner Bros. Film Studio once again changed the rental schedule of the fantastic movie "Godzilla vs. King Kong". Now, according to The Wrap, the release of the picture has been postponed for almost six months. Instead of March 12, 2020, as previously announced, viewers may be able to appreciate the battle between two monsters on November 20, 2020.

The reason, as usual, is not specified. Recall that the movie was originally scheduled for wide release in May 2020. However, due to the presence of the Fast and Furious 9 action-adventure movie Warner Bros. moved her project to March. In June 2019, studio head Toby Emmerich said that the schedule could be changed again. "It may come out later than it is supposed to be a class A + project," he said at the time.

Rumored to be Warner Bros. evaluates the possibility of completely abandoning the rental of this tape. Instead, it could be represented by the streaming service HBO Max.

The studio's plans were likely influenced by the failure of the major 2019 movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which was part of the so-called Monster Universe. With a production budget of $ 200 million, he grossed only $ 385 million.
