Ben Affleck to star in an addiction movie (Topic)

Ben Affleck has started movieing a new movie called "Torrance", which can be considered to some extent autobiographical. As noted by the TMZ edition, the movie is about a famous basketball player struggling with alcohol addiction, who agrees to become a coach in his home school.

Ben Affleck will become not only the leading actor, but also the producer of the movie. Naturally, his own experience of dealing with addiction will be useful in his work.

Recall that Affleck himself spent 40 days in a drug treatment clinic, where experts helped him get out of the binge and once again try to defeat his addiction to alcohol. The actor was brought to the clinic by his wife Jennifer Garner, who found him in his own house in an extremely deplorable state.

After the completion of the treatment, Affleck will be under the supervision of doctors for some time and will continue the rehabilitation course already on an outpatient basis.

The actor's further plans are still unknown. Those around him say that he really wants to play Batman again in the next movie, which will enter the DC Universe, but the plans of Warner Bros. on this matter have not yet been specified. A solo movie about Bamten is expected to be movieed in 2019.
