Joker Movie Director Confirmed His Rating
Creator of the low-budget DC Comics-based Joker, Todd Phillips has unveiled a new shot of the protagonist doing his makeup. Also, the director confirmed the rental rating of his project. According to Phillips, the movie will be presented with an R rating in North America, that is, it will be able to watch it in cinemas mainly for an adult audience. The director did not specify what caused the rental restrictions. According to unconfirmed rumors so far, this decision was made by the American Association of Filmmakers not because of the abundance of scenes of violence or depreciated vocabulary, but from scenes with the participation of naked women. It is assumed that the plot of the movie "Joker" is based on the comics of Alan Moore, in which one of the most famous DC villains was originally an unknown unlucky comedian who struggles to make ends meet for his pregnant wife. His wife dies in an accident, and he himself is forced to take part in a robbery, during which he falls into a vat of chemicals and turns into a familiar criminal with a disfigured face.
