Warner Bros. Film Studio intends to movie a comic strip by Mark Millar called "Superman: Red Son" ("Superman: Red Son"), which presented an alternative biography of the main DC superhero Superman. This is reported by the publication Revenge of the Fans.

According to the original source, the capsule with the baby from the planet Krypton landed not in the United States, but on the territory of the Soviet Union in the mid-50s. In the comic, an attempt is made to present exactly how a fundamentally different environment influenced the formation of the superhero and the set of his values. The terms of work on the project and the cast of actors who will voice the characters are not yet specified.

Recall that the classic story was presented earlier in the full-length feature movie "Man of Steel", which later found its development in the movies "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Justice League". After the failure of the latter, the further on-screen fate of Kripoton's son remained unknown. It was believed that the actor Henry Cavill, who played Superman, will no longer return to this image, preferring to him a long-term contract with the creators of the series "The Witcher".
