The creators of the popular television series "24 Hours", Robert Cochran and Joel Sarnow, have begun work on its prequel. According to The Hollywood Reporter, citing its sources, the new series will tell the back story of Jack Bauer and explain the unique features of the hero. The project is in the very early stages of conceptualization and script writing. Howard Gordon has been appointed as the producer and has worked on the original show. Casting of actors at the time of this writing has not yet begun. Recall that the series "24 Hours" was shown from 2001 to 2010. It stars Kiefer Sutherland, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Carlos Bernard, Dennis Heisbert, Elisha Cuthbert, James Morrison, Reiko Aylesworth, Jude Chiccolella, Kim Raver and other actors. In 2017, a sequel titled "24 Hours: The Legacy" was released.
