Warner Bros. renamed her Jungle Book

Warner Bros. Film Studio has decided to rename its movie, based on the works of Rudyard Kipling. According to the publication Deadline, from now on it will not be called "The Jungle Book: The Beginning", but simply "Mowgli". The release date of the movie has remained unchanged - October 19, 2018.

Recall that the project was originally planned to be presented to viewers in 2016, but after the success of The Jungle Book by Walt Disney Studios, such a rolling schedule was deemed inappropriate, and the premiere postponed to October 2017, and then to October 2018.

The main characters of the movie, which will be a symbiosis of live movieing and CGI, were voiced by Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hollander, Freida Pinto, Andy Serkis, Naomi Harris, Matthew Reese, Eddie Marsan, Jack Raynor and other actors.

Andy Serkis was originally appointed to direct Mowgli, but back in the first half of 2016, Warner Bros. invited director Alfonso Cuaron as a "consultant" to decide how to improve the picture. How great was Cuaron's contribution in the end is still unknown. At the time of this writing, the project did not have not only a trailer, but even posters.
