Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League director Zach Snyder planned to introduce Batman's assistant Robin into the DC Universe, but in his version he was supposed to be female.

This information confirmed by Snyder himself, communicating with his fans on the Vero platform. When asked about the possible return of Robin, who was dead in the storyline he presented, Snyder replied that the character would remain dead "until Carrie appeared."

Note that Carrie Kelly appeared in Frank Miller's comic Dark Knight Returns ", released in 1986. She was only 13 years old when she began to help the aging Bruce Wayne curb enemies, like the one who took up the old Harvey Dent.

Recall, that rumors of Robin's possible appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arose shortly after movieing began, when it became known that actress Jena Malone, with whom Snyder had worked with earlier, had joined the cast. However, this never happened.

Both projects were defeated by critics, and the second completely failed at the box office. As a result, DCU curators were suspended from work.
