Mad Max 4: Fury Road director George Miller is suing Warner Bros. According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the director is confident that he was not paid for his many years of work on the project.

"The studio should significantly increase the payment for the hard and painstaking work, which took more than 10 years and included the development of the script and three years of preparation for the production of the movie. The result of this hard work was the widespread recognition of the movie all over the world. We would rather make movies with Warner Bros than argue with them, but for a whole year we have not been able to reach a satisfactory solution to the problem, and now we had to resort to legal action, '' the plaintiff said in a statement.

The amount of claims by George Miller and his production company was not specified. Warner Bros. did not agree with the director's point of view and intend to prove their case in court.

Recall that the movie "Mad Max 4: Fury Road" was released in 2015. It starred Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and other actors. The movie flopped at the box office, earning only $ 378 million on a budget of $ 150 million.
