At the Morning of the Motherland 2020 festival held in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, the movie "The Sky Is Measured in Miles" was shown, which is dedicated to the famous Soviet aircraft designer Mikhail Mil. Performers of the key roles Andrey Merzlikin and Maryana Spivak presented the movie to the audience. According to the artists, despite the fact that the movie was already released for limited release in the fall of 2019, now it is planned to be widely released, and therefore a full-fledged premiere was organized at the festival. Andrei Merzlikin himself admitted that he had not yet had time to evaluate the result. Mariana Spivak also announced that in the summer "The sky is measured in miles" will be released by one of the federal channels in the form of a four-part series. "Accordingly, the movie is such a cut of four episodes," - she commented, adding that the relatives of the aircraft designer were very pleased with the tape. The main role was played by Evgeny Stychkin, who was busy on the set and could not arrive in the capital of Sakhalin. Andrey Merzlikin played another famous designer - Kamov, who was the mentor of Mikhail Mil. The Morning of the Motherland 2020 festival will continue until March 14.
