In terms of size, the photograph took the honorable third place among all the world's largest photographs. To shoot a panoramic photo of Shanghai, all the necessary equipment was placed on a 230-meter high television tower, which itself is one of the most striking sights of the city. The final panorama of the city came from thousands of individual shots taken with professional equipment. The whole process of filming took several months and an additional couple of months was the process of gluing the final picture from a huge number of frames. As a result, the single photo of Shanghai received a record resolution 195,000 megapixels .
A photograph can be viewed for a long time, finding all the new details that, thanks to the highest resolution of the frame, are distinguished by accuracy and quality. The creators of the panorama claim that the result of their work is 2,000 times higher in clarity than ordinary amateur photographs taken with DSLRs of the consumer segment. To prove their words, the authors propose to zoom in any fragment of the image in order to examine its details in detail. The high resolution even allows you to see the license plates and facial expressions of passers-by caught in a large-scale Shanghai panorama.
