Netflix's The Witcher Season 2 will have a more consistent storyline

The Witcher season 1 debuted on Netflix. He divided critics and people into two parts: some pay the Witcher with minted coins and praise him, while others blame him for the fact that the episodes do not feel whole.

Showrunner Lauren Hissrich revealed in an interview with Games Radar that the next season will be more dynamic. From the point of view of the script, the story will become much more coherent, it will stop jumping between timelines, and all the relationships that they have built for a long time in the first season will have consequences.

In addition, in the second season, the series will no longer be divided into three separate stories about Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer. The characters will begin to meet each other more often in common plots. This interaction will not always be positive. However, all those elements of the story that the first season created will finally come together.

Hissrich also confirmed that we will have seven seasons. According to her, the writing team has a lot of source material and they think about when certain elements may appear in the series:

“This could happen in Season 3 or maybe in Season 7. We could write the script for the show for a really long time, ”says Hissrich.

She also made a post on her Twitter, where she said that she did not care about press reviews, and even more so from publications such as Entertainment Weekly, which wrote a review based on three episodes. First of all, she is interested in the feedback from the fans who have watched 8 episodes at a time and are already reviewing the series. This makes her happy.

SEGA is restructuring internally

SEGA announced that next year it will restructure and merge its two divisions: SEGA Interactive, which creates arcades, themed products and merchandise, and SEGA Games, which is responsible for the production of projects on PC, consoles and mobile. They will exist under one name - SEGA. Toshihiro Nagoshi, a member of the company's management and director of the Yakuza series, explained what this means.

As it turned out, now there is no such company as SEGA ... There is SEGA Sammy Holdings, which has a subsidiary of SEGA Holdings, and it includes SEGA Interactive and SEGA Games.

According to Nagoshi, toys and arcade machines have always been important to SEGA, as well as games. They used to separate these markets, but now, due to changes, they have merged to create higher quality content.

What does this mean for us? The games will be better. Perhaps.

Final Fantasy VII Remake and Patapon 2 Demo Lights Up On PSN

On Playstation Network, where Resident Evil 3 Remake covers were previously found, reporters stumbled upon the cover of the Final Fantasy VII demo. They also found the cover of the Patapon 2 remaster. There is no final image, but there is a label with the corresponding caption.

If we talk about the second game, who does not know or have forgotten, Patapon 2 is an old strategy for PSP. The remaster of the game was announced back in 2017, but after the announcement it disappeared. In the same year, an updated version of the first game was released on PS4.

As for the Final Fantasy VII remake demo, it was allowed to play at past gaming exhibitions. If the demo remains unchanged, we are waiting for the introductory part of the game.
