Last year's Call of Duty Black Ops 4 shooter received excellent reviews from game critics and sold an impressive number of copies, even considering that it was the first in a series without a traditional story campaign. It would seem that excellent sales results should have been a signal for Activision to continue to abandon the singleplayer component in the new Call of Duty releases, but that was not the case. Today we have only positive news for fans of storyline shooter singles.
As the president of Activision, Rob Coltrich, said the new part of Call of Duty will again offer fans of the series a cinematic story campaign. Coltrich did not share any other details about the new game from the creators of Call of Duty Infinity Warfare. Unless he assured that the new game will offer, in addition to the single mode, the obligatory multiplayer and co-op for the series.
The Game Awards creator Jeff Kayleigh has already confirmed on Twitter that the storyline campaign should be expected in the new release of the Call of Duty series.
The release of the next game in the series of "best-selling shooters in history" should be expected traditionally - this fall. We dare to assume that the game will have an improved version of the Blackout "battle royale" from Call of Duty Black Ops 4, thanks in large part to which the game became one of the most successful projects last year, second only to Red Dead Redemption 2.
