Casting: Vindictive Detective and Medium in Trouble
A colorful company gathers on the set of the thriller Bent . According to the site The Hollywood Reporter , the roles in the film were given to Karl Urban ("Judge Dredd 3D"), Sofia Vergara ("American Family") and Andy Garcia (Ocean's Eleven). Oscar laureate Robert Moresco (The One-Eyed King) will lead the work on the tape according to his own script.In the center of the thriller is Danny Gallagher ( Urban ) - a discredited detective from the anti-narcotics department. The audience will meet the hero just at the moment when he is released from prison, dreaming of revenge on the one who set him up and killed his partner. In search of the truth, Gallagher embarks on an investigation into the mysterious death of the bookmaker's sister. Soon Danny realizes that the crime is in some way connected to a major conspiracy at the state level. During the investigation, the hero will have to face a ruthless government agent ( Vergara ), who can be both an ally and an enemy, and his mentor ( Garcia ) - a cop on pensions who have fought corruption all their lives.  Filming is scheduled to begin this month. The project is produced by Andrea Iervolino (Transformation) and Monica Bacardi (Dating Rome). Kristen Wiig (Ghostbusters) is in talks to join Cate Blanchett on the set of Where Have You Gone, Bernadette? , based on the novel by Maria Semple ... The film was adapted by Scott Neistadter and Michael H. Weber (The Fault in Our Stars) and directed by Richard Linklater (Adolescence).  The book is narrated by a 15-year-old girl named Bee Branch , who is looking for her mother, an architect. Bernadette is afraid of open spaces and once, just before the family trip to Antarctica, disappeared without a trace ... Cate Blanchett will play Bernadette herself, and Wiig , if negotiations are successfully completed, will play the role of a nervous mother who likes to complicate the life of the protagonist.  Emily Hampshire (12 Monkeys) has starred in the thriller Never Saw It Coming , directed by Gail Harvey (Runaway House). The Canadian actress will play Kish Ceylon - a mercantile medium who is suddenly involved in a murder case in a small town.
