The audience also praised the mesmerizing cinematography of Haris Zambarlukos, the musical accompaniment by Patrick Doyle, as well as the excellent performance of the star cast. And of course, no one was left indifferent by the disgracefully lush mustache of the protagonist.  Under the onslaught of two strong novelties, the triumphant of the past weeks - the USA adventure comedy "The Last Bogatyr", has dropped to the third line. The film has been in the top five for three weeks in a row, two of which it held in first place in the rating. More than 6.7 million people have already seen the film directed by Dmitry Dyachenko, and its total box office is currently 1.52 billion rubles. At the end of the third weekend, the fairy tale managed to earn another 150 million rubles, as well as get another achievement in its piggy bank. "The Last Bogatyr" became the fourth USA film in the entire modern history of distribution, to which the mark of 1.5 billion rubles was submitted. Before that, only Stalingrad (1.67 billion rubles), Viking (1.53 billion rubles) and Ekipazh (1.5 billion rubles) were able to overcome the cherished milestone.  The fourth place is occupied by another USA family project - the animation film "Fixies: The Big Secret". Over the past weekend, the piggy bank of the creators of the tape was replenished with an additional 60 million rubles. In total, the cartoon, based on the popular television series about little people who take care of technology and tell children what works and how, has mastered 386 million rubles to date. This is a very solid result for domestic animation. Only films from the Three Bogatyrs and Ivan Tsarevich and the Gray Wolf franchises, which are traditionally released during the New Year holidays, could earn more at the box office.  For the third week in a row, the historical drama "Matilda" has been in the top five of the leaders of the financial rating. The number of cinemas where the picture is shown has decreased by almost a third, and weekly fees have also dropped. Compared to last weekend, the box office "Matilda" sank by more than 75% and amounted to 31 million rubles. In total, the film directed by Alexei Uchitel has already collected 505 million rubles. It remains only to guess how the fate of the picture would have developed if it had not been for the hype in the press and the scandalous atmosphere that preceded the release of the tape on the screens for many months. Because of all this, it was difficult for film distributors to predict the real box-office potential of "Matilda", but still she showed herself very worthy.
