Kiefer Sutherland will go into a coma again
Plans to create a remake of Joel Schumacher's psychological thriller " Flatulers " emerged five years ago, but the project was launched only this year.Over the past few months, Nina Dobrev, Ellen Page, James Norton and Diego Luna have joined the cast. According to Deadline , the creators of the picture decided to make a pleasant surprise for fans of the original. Insiders learned that the proposal to take part in the filming of the new version of " Comatosers " will be received by the actors from the cult film of 1990. Kiefer Sutherland was the first to respond to the invitation from Columbia Pictures . In the original, Sutherland played the role of the medical student Nelson Wright , who knocked out his four classmates to help him survive his clinical death. Soon, young scientists realized that experiments with the afterlife could have dire consequences ...  Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon, William Baldwin and Oliver Platt joined Kiefer in the cast of the thriller Schumacher . For a long time, it was thought that the new " Flatulers " would receive remake status, but the desire of Columbia Pictures bosses to use the stars of the original in the film may indicate that Ben Ripley's script (" Source code ") serves as a continuation of the 90th tape plot.  Filming will begin in Toronto this week.
