Macro Developing took on a series from up-and-coming young director Numa Perrier, who drew the attention of the big TV and movie bosses after the release of the 2019 film Jezebel. The project called Toxic will be filmed in the erotic thriller genre, not the most popular on modern TV.In the center of the plot is a seemingly ordinary married couple who feel equally comfortable both in confidential conversations and in erotic experiments. But the further they go into uncharted territory, the more difficult everything around becomes, and in the end this exciting adventure will turn into a real disaster for both. Perrier will write, direct and executive produce the upcoming show. Macro Television Studios say they are thrilled to partner with Numa and that her fresh look will surely breathe new life into this male-dominated genre.
