The third phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has come to an end, but the studio is already in full swing preparing for the fourth. One of the first announced Phase 4 projects was The Eternals, and moviegoers expected to learn more about other blockbusters during the Comic-Con period. The convention has not started yet, and information has already leaked to the press that the Marvel bosses do not want to part with Thor and Taika Waititi.The studio invited the director, who breathed new life into the film series about Thor, to lead the shooting of the fourth film. The plot of the quad is, of course, still unknown, but Waititi himself will write the script for it. Chris Hemsworth is expected to flex his muscles again and demonstrate a great sense of humor as Thor, and he will be accompanied by Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie. Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok has grossed $ 854 million worldwide, and the triquel has the highest rating of any Thor movie on Rotten Tomatoes to date. It is also noteworthy that the Thunderer from Asgard will be the first in the Marvel Universe to whom the studio will devote four films at once - Tony Stark and Captain America were limited to three.  However, the work on the fourth "Thor" comes at a price: because of the Marvel blockbuster Waititi will leave "Akira" alone for now. The filmmaker was in the process of selecting actors for the film adaptation of the manga, but the project had problems with the script, and its filming had to be postponed - in time they would just coincide with the filming of Thor 4. Insiders report that Warner Bros. does not want to give up Waititi's services, so long-suffering Akira will have to wait until the director fulfills his obligations to Marvel.
