Now the major has found a person who is ready to recreate the world of the original acting in the cinema - he is Eli Roth, known for the horror films "Hostel" and "Green Hell". By his own admission, everything he did before led him to a larger film, which is the adaptation of Borderlands. At the moment, sales of all games in the franchise have passed the 57 million mark, and the last part, released in the fall, has already sold eight million copies. Unsurprisingly, the Lionsgate bosses are back to a forgotten idea. The latest version of the text was written by the winner of the Writers Guild Award Craig Mazin, but the plot of the film is still kept secret. The action of the original takes place in the future - at a time when various corporations are fighting for control over the colonization of planets in order to further use their resources.  “With Eli's vision and Craig's script, we seem to have found a way to bring the anarchic world of Borderlands to the big screens in a way that makes the film an immersive experience for moviegoers and game fans alike,” said Nathan Kahane.
