Disney will find the nation's treasure on TV
A couple of years ago, director John Terteltaub admitted that the planned Treasure of the Nation triquel probably won't make it to theaters as other projects are prioritized by Disney. However, already in January of this year, it became known that the third part acquired a new screenwriter. Now the producer of the franchise, Jerry Bruckheimer, has assured reporters that the search for the nation's treasure will continue on the small screens.According to Bruckheimer, both a feature film and a series for the Disney + platform are currently in the works. At the same time, the same actors will be involved in the film, but for the show, the producers will assemble a younger team.“The script is being written. The TV version is also in the making. We already have the pilot's text and sketches for future episodes, ”Bruckheimer said in an interview. The first National Treasure proved to be a highly successful venture and earned Disney $ 347 million on a $ 100 million budget.
