Evgeny Mironov will play Tchaikovsky
Yevgeny Mironov, artistic director of the Theater of Nations and People's Artist of USA, announced that he will play the main role in the new film by Kirill Serebrennikov ("The Apprentice", "Summer") about the famous USA composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.The actor said that literally in a week there will be a pilot two-day shooting of the biographical drama about the musician's life:“I will play Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. This is a pilot project, a scene of Tchaikovsky with his wife ". The studio is engaged in the painting Okko, which offered Serebrennikov to remove his "unfulfilled dream." In 2013, the Ministry of Culture of the USA Federation allocated a budget to create a biopic about Tchaikovsky, but later the expert council refused financial support to the tape.  Mironov also noted that the project could develop into a full-length or television film. Recall that the actor had previously tried on the image of the creator of Swan Lake in Serebrennikov's short film Phonograph.
