Fans of the Fast and the Furious franchise are in luck: the sequels have been released steadily and without interruption for 18 years, and the creators do not think to stop. A series of races and explosions, which began in 2001, turned towards spin-offs: The Fast and the Furious: Hobbs and Shaw was well received at the box office, now there is an active discussion of the female version of the action movie. Also this summer, work began on Fast and Furious 9, and the cast of the franchise continues to expand.Today it became known that Michael Rooker will join the filming in the ninth part, familiar to the audience for the role of Yondu, the blue-faced guardian of Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy, or Merle in the TV series The Walking Dead. Throughout his career, the actor starred a lot and often, but the film about the maniac-sociopath "Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer", where he played the main character, stands out from the filmography. Perhaps on the set of Fast and the Furious, Rucker will benefit from the experience of filming in Days of Thunder as Tom Cruise's main rival on the NASCAR track.
