Give me the second John Constantine!
Rumors that Warner Bros. wants to invite John Constantine to the DC universe, have been walking for a long time. After the famous occultist conquered the series lovers and, despite the closure of the solo show, continues to surf the television space in the company of "Legends of Tomorrow", the major finally drew attention to the hero. The WB management, apparently, realized how popular Konstantin is among the audience. Not surprisingly, two versions of a character could appear in the DC world at once.The first John Constantine is rumored to be Keanu Reeves, who has long dreamed of returning to the role of an exorcist. This year, as part of the online Comic Con festival, there will be a press conference dedicated to the 15th anniversary of Constantine: Lord of Darkness. Reeves will be there, and then, probably, fans will be able to get at least some information from the actor. The second John Constantine will be closer to the image of the hero from the original comics, and he will not become a part of the general DC universe, but will receive, like "Joker", a solo album that stands alone. For this project, the WB is already looking for candidates. Now the main contender for the role is not Colin Farrell, as a year ago, but Taron Edgerton.  The Kingsman: The Secret Service and The Rocketman star knows John Constantine firsthand: Edgerton voiced him in the Neil Gaiman-based audio production of The Sandman, which will be released on Audible this summer.
