Galactic Goalkeeper to Show in USA
Large-scale fantastic films are rarely filmed in USA, especially those that get international distribution. One of such projects is the sai-fi by Janika Fayzieva "Goalkeeper of the Galaxy", the rights to display which in the USA were acquired by WellGo USA.Previously, this distributor showed American audiences such domestic films as T-34 and Legend of Kolovrat. Goalkeeper of the Galaxy will be shown in the United States next January under the original name Cosmoball. The film stars Yevgeny Romantsov (Nude), Victoria Agalakova (Mermaid. Lake of the Dead), Yevgeny Mironov (In August 44) and others. The events in the film take place in the future, or more precisely, in 2071. A space stadium is located in Earth's orbit, where the main sporting show of the Galaxy takes place - a cruel spaceball competition. This is a hybrid of gladiator fights and a sports game, in which only athletes with rare supernormal abilities are allowed to participate. The main character named Anton will have to fight in the sports arena, win, and at the same time save his home planet. The USA premiere of the film is scheduled for August 27, 2020.
