Will Doctor Doom take over Wakanda?
The outgoing year has brought not only a lot of striking films and TV series, but also one of the largest deals in the history of world cinema. A few months ago, Disney finally closed its deal with Fox Corporation and acquired many popular franchises, including Fantastic Four, X-Men and Deadpool. It looks like the prodigal superheroes will return to their native Marvel lands sooner than expected. Rumor has it that Marvel will feature a former Fox character in Black Panther II.Rumor has it that Kevin Feige's company will appoint Victor von Doom as the main villain of the blockbuster. Movie buffs are already familiar with this character from the Fantastic Four franchise. As for the Marvel comics, in them Victor caused problems not only to Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch and Thing, but also to other superheroes. It is possible that the creators of "Black Panther 2" are preparing a screen version of the graphic novel Doomwar, which tells about the confrontation between Doom and the royal family of Wakanda. The antagonist was born in 1962 thanks to the genius of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. 53 years later, IGN ranked Doctor Doom the honorable third place in the ranking of the greatest comic book villains.  At one time, Marvel escaped bankruptcy by selling the rights to many popular heroes to Hollywood studios. The success of the Avengers saga allowed several characters to be bought back. The studio has already announced a film about Blade, and now insiders promise a quick meeting with Doom. It is worth noting that Marvel officials are in no hurry to confirm information about the appearance of an antagonist in the sequel to "Black Panther".
