There was a time when Arnold Schwarzenegger was one of the most popular Hollywood stars on the planet. In the last decade, Arnie has had to make room and make way for the young, but he is clearly not going to give up. Next in line for Schwarzenegger is his first major role on TV. The actor signed up for the as-yet-untitled series, which is produced by Skydance, the company behind the last Terminator.The project is described as a global adventure spy series, and Schwarzenegger will play, in fact, a spy. Also, one of the leading roles in the plot is assigned to the daughter of the protagonist. The search for an actress to accompany Arnie continues. The creator of the new show is Nick Santora, best known for his work on The Sopranos and Lie to Me. Santora will act as one of the executive producers of the project, as will Schwarzenegger himself. At the moment, Skydance is seeking support from streaming services, which means that viewers will have more than a simple spy procedure.
