Bloodshot Director Will Arrange Future Prison Break
"Bloodshot" was Dave Wilson's feature-length directorial debut. And although the action blockbuster with Vin Diesel lacked stars from the sky at the box office, mostly due to the coronavirus pandemic, Sony completely trusts Wilson and has already invited him to lead the filming of another project.It is reported that Wilson will take the directing chair of the sci-fi movie Stream, based on the novel of the same name by Daniel Suarez. The script will be directed by Zach Olkiewicz, who, like Wilson, does not have extensive experience in cinema, but is one of the authors of the forthcoming "Street of Fear". Suarez's novel is a fantasy story set in a futuristic setting. The protagonist is physicist John Grady, who is working on improving technology that can change the world. Once unknown people burst into his laboratory, and the protagonist is imprisoned by a secret organization designed to maintain order in society and restrain scientific and technological progress. Grady does not want to cooperate with the government, which means that torture and a high-tech prison, where the same geniuses as John are, are already awaiting him. Now the scientist must escape from prison and thwart the plans of the government.  Dave Wilson admitted that he loves science fiction literature and that it had a huge impact on his work, and he came to the world of cinema from the field of special effects, so Stream should not have problems with visuals.
