The DC Universe Is Missing Christian Bale
Many consider Christian Bale the best Batman of all time, but after filming the Dark Knight trilogy, the actor chose to distance himself from superhero films. And yet, the Marvel studio found convincing reasons to lure Bale into his universe, and he agreed to intrigue Thor himself. Warner Bros. decided to follow the lead of the competition and wants to return Bale to the world of DC superheroes - this time as a villain.Insiders share information that the WB is ready to offer Bale the role of Vandal Savage. The latter is considered one of the most dangerous and powerful villains in DC Comics. Its history began even before our era, when the leader of the Cro-Magnon tribe discovered a mysterious meteorite, which gave him unprecedented mental abilities and immortality. For centuries, Vandal caused unrest - it was he who was responsible for the destruction of the lost city of Atlantis and hid under the guise of Alexander the Great, Gaius Julius Caesar, Genghis Khan, a pirate nicknamed Blackbeard, Vlad Tepes and Jack the Ripper. Vandal Savage did not appear in feature films, but the image of the antagonist was happily exploited by television producers. Savage has been villainous on Smallville and on The CW, in which he was portrayed by Casper Crump.  Vandal Savage would perfectly fit into Christian Bale's collection of villains, but it is not yet clear whether the actor, who has just decided to return to the world of superheroes, is ready to travel to two universes at once.
