Adonis Creed prepares for a new battle
In 2015, director Ryan Coogler and actor Michael B. Jordan revived the Rocky franchise with the emotional boxing drama Creed: Rocky's Legacy. Coogler was then drawn into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the sequel was directed by Stephen Capel Jr. It turned out to be a good film, but, as many reviewers admitted, it did not reach the heights of the first part. MGM intends to continue the Creed franchise and is already preparing a triquel, which has just got a screenwriter.Part 3 will be written by Zach Beilin. He cannot yet boast of an extensive resume, but the script for the King Richard tape he wrote in 2018 was included in the famous Black List. A film about Richard Williams - the father of world tennis stars Serena and Venus Williams - is in the making and starring Will Smith, so at the moment, Baelin seems an ideal candidate for the third Creed. The director of the triquel has not yet acquired, but it is hoped that the script of Baelin, as in the case of the drama "King Richard", will interest some of the talented Hollywood directors. It was rumored that Michael B. Jordan himself was going to lead the shoot, but so far this seems unlikely.  Actually, due to Jordan's employment in other projects, Creed 3 is in limbo.
