Will Paramount cross between Transformers and Cobra Toss?

Image Paramount's highest-grossing films list is comprised primarily of Mission: Impossible, Kung Fu Panda, Shrek and Transformers franchises. The last three have been paused for now, so the major's management is ready to take advantage of any, albeit elusive, chance of financial success.

Currently, several films from the Transformers universe are in the works, including an animated film, a sequel to Bumblebee and a complete reboot of the film series. It is not yet clear which of them will reach the big screens first, but insiders say that at the moment one more project has got on the table to the studio bosses - the long-suffering crossover of Transformers and Cobra Throw.

Conversations about crossing the two franchises have been going on for many years, but the crossover is periodically in active development, then it returns to the shelf. According to rumors, if the action "Snake Eyes" is a success, and there is still a year before its premiere, then the hybrid of "Transformers" and "Cobra Throw" will become a priority for Paramount.

Major, together with Hasbro, have long dreamed of building a connected universe inspired by the company's toys, but only Transformers won the hearts of moviegoers. The Cobra Toss suffered from both a lack of fees and negative reviews. The studio has high hopes for the film about Snake Isa: its results will affect not only the chances of the crossover to see the light of day, but also the further fate of the film series about GI Joe soldiers.
