When fairies are late
Isla Fisher ("The Beach Bum") and Gillian Bell ("Brittany Runs a Marathon") have signed on to star in a new Disney + comedy project called Godmothered. Director Sharon Maguire, director of the Bridget Jones Diary franchise, will head the production and script by Kari Granlund and Melissa Stack.The plot of the tape will focus on a young and not yet very experienced fairy godmother (Bell), who decides to prove her professional worth by tracking down one young lady whose request was once ignored by other fairies. True, it turns out that that girl has long become a grown woman (Fisher) and now needs something very different from the fairy prince.
