David Benioff and D. B. Weiss left the game
It seems that in a distant, distant galaxy again it is restless. The renowned duo of showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weissa has canceled the deal with Disney and will no longer be involved in any new projects for the Star Wars universe. From the outside, it seemed that everything was going according to plan - the studios even outlined the year of release of the first swallow of Banioff and Weiss - 2022. However, it turns out that Disney and the Game of Thrones showrunners are not on their way. Nevertheless, fans have reason to build a theory according to which the situation with the termination of the contract is not so simple. After the final seasons of Game of Thrones, Banioff and Weiss's reputation as screenwriters was tarnished, and perhaps this was the reason for the termination of the contract. We all remember the precedents with Josh Trunk, Colin Trevorrow, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, when the studio did not agree with the filmmakers and broke the deal.
