Nicole Kidman will heal Melissa McCarthy
The development of television has led overseas channels and online services to gather more and more superstar cast members. The streaming platform Hulu is no exception, preparing for the filming of a mini-series based on Liana Moriarty's bestseller "Nine Perfect Strangers." Following Nicole Kidman, two-time Oscar applicant Melissa McCarthy joined the TV project team.In recent years, Melissa has worked in big cinema and has emerged as a strong dramatic actress. Now McCarthy will return to television screens to compete for another Emmy. The actress has previously won two Television Academy Awards for Mike and Molly and a guest role on the sketch show Saturday Night Live. Moriarty's book was published in 2018 and spent 13 weeks on The New York Times bestseller list. The story is set in a posh health resort. The owner of the establishment (Kidman) promises that her special ten-day program will restore the physical and emotional strength of any client. As you might have guessed, McCarthy will appear as one of the participants in the treatment course.  The miniseries will feature 11-time Emmy winner David E. Kelly (Mr. Mercedes, The Practice) and screenwriter John-Henry Butterworth (Ford vs. Ferrari, Edge of Tomorrow) as showrunners.
