However, the Argentinean's lawyers did not wait for the official synopsis and announced that the athlete did not give permission to use the image and would be sued if Sorrentino appropriated other people's trademarks. Lawyers have not yet clarified whether Maradona considers the title of the film a trademark. Their client had previously tried to sue Dolce & Gabbana, the creators of the Pro Evolution Soccer video game and even their own daughters.
