According to the publisher's official description, Life Will Be The Death Of Me is a funny, sad, super honest and completely true story of one year of Chelsea self-discovery featuring a nerdy but brilliant psychiatrist, four Chow Chows, several well-installed CCTV cameras, some family members ( alive and already gone), friends, helpers and a lot of food.

Chelsea's collection of autobiographical essays has already been adapted for television screens. Comedy series Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea was released on NBC in 2011 and lasted one season. Also this fall, the Chelsea-produced documentary Hello, Privilege premiered on Netflix.
