Cats' characters will become prettier
The collection of films depends on the audience, so Hollywood has begun to listen to their opinion more and more often. In May of this year, social media trashed the design of a computer hedgehog in the Sonic Movie trailer. Paramount took the criticism into account and spent several million dollars redrawing the title character. Now the studio Universal and the authors of the musical "Cats" have found themselves in a similar situation.The first trailer for the film was released in July and caused a flurry of negativity. The heroes of the musical looked so strange that they deserved to be compared with the horror monsters. Naturally, many viewers began to add music from famous horror films to the video. The creators of "Cats" had to turn to visual effects experts to finalize the appearance of the cats. “Filming finished in March, so many of the special effects in the summer trailer were in the early stages of production,, said director Tom Hooper. "When you go to the theaters, you will see that we have redesigned the characters." Recently, Universal released a new video that made it clear that CG artists really work tirelessly.
