Shyamalan has assembled a team for a new project
M. Night Shyamalan has completed casting for his new, as yet unnamed film, to be produced by Universal Picture. According to the old tradition, all the details of the project are kept in strict confidence. It is known that Shyamalan will act as a screenwriter, director and producer. The cast included Aaron Pierre (Krypton), Alex Wolfe (Reincarnation), Vicky Cripps (Phantom Thread), Thomasin McKenzie (Jojo Rabbit) and Eliza Scanlen (Sharp Objects).The secret project has not yet acquired a release date for obvious reasons: cinemas are closed, and the schedules of premieres of all Hollywood studios are now being revised. It is also unknown when production will start, but everyone hopes that it will be possible to get behind the cameras at least by the end of the year.  Shyamalan had previously funded the production of his thrillers Split, Glass and Visit. In total, about 35 million dollars were spent on their filming, and the grossing of three films at the world box office amounted to 600 million. M. Knight will also finance his next two projects himself. The filmmaker recently unveiled his television horror film House with a Servant, which was released on the Aplle TV platform.
