The Eternals welcome recruits

Image Yesterday it became known that the studio Marvel signed the star of the fantasy saga "Game of Thrones" Keith Harington. Kevin Feige's company did not play on the nerves of the audience and create intrigue about the role of the British. It was announced today that Harington has joined the cast of The Eternals.

The experience of filming the battle scenes of "Game of Thrones" helped Keith to get the role of Dane Whitman, nicknamed the Black Knight. The superhero debuted on the pages of comics back in 1967. Whitman was the third character to wear the Black Knight's armor. Unlike his cunning predecessor, Dane used his superpowers for the good of society and became a protector of the weak and disadvantaged. The owner of the Sword of Light and Shield of the Night was part of the Avengers, and therefore it is highly likely that Harington's contract is designed for several films at once.

The Eternals' presentation at the D23 festival brought a couple more interesting surprises. Irishman Barry Keoghan ("Dunkirk") and Englishwoman Gemma Chan ("People") joined the team of the film, who will play representatives of the titular race of supermen. Barry will appear as Druig, and Gemma will be reincarnated as Sersi. Curiously, Chan has already appeared in the MCU, but in a different role - the villainess Minn-Erva from the blockbuster Captain Marvel.
