Dinosaurs rush to TV screens
The monsters from Nublar Island became crowded on the silver screen. Universal Studios is considering the idea of creating the first action series based on Jurassic Park.The starting part of the film series was released in 1993. Steven Spielberg's blockbuster based on the novel by Michael Crichton grossed $ 912 million, becoming the highest grossing film in history. The financial record was held for four years, until James Cameron's Titanic came out. Since then, the franchise has achieved incredible success. Movies about dinosaurs collect an average of $ 999.7 million. By this indicator, they bypass even Marvel blockbusters. Universal is currently filming the sixth part - "Jurassic World: Power". Modern TV projects can boast of solid budgets and high-quality special effects, so the studio thought about a serial version of "Park". Universal's management wants to recruit franchise connoisseurs such as Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow. The producers are also in talks with the Vancouver authorities, which hosted the Vlast film crew. The studio will likely save a budget by using existing sets.  According to rumors, the project is being developed for the joint streaming platform Universal and the NBC television network.
